Can you make a voice call?

It's important to find out if you can make a call. If you can't make a voice call, you need to solve this problem. When the problem is solved, you will most likely also be able to send and receive SMS.

When you turn on fixed dialing, you can only send SMS to predefined numbers.

Turn off fixed dialing.

Turn off fixed dialing.

1. Find "Fixed dialling numbers"

Tap Settings.

Tap Call.

Tap Operator's call related settings.

Tap Fixed dialling numbers.

2. Turn on fixed dialing

Tap Enable FDN.

Key in your PIN2 and tap OK. The default PIN2 is 0000.

3. Turn off fixed dialing

Tap Disable FDN to turn off fixed dialing.

Key in your PIN2 and tap OK. The default PIN2 is 0000.

4. Return to the home screen

Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.

The message centre ensures your SMS is sent to the recipient. Consequently, the correct message centre number needs to be saved in your phone.

Save the message centre number.

1. Find "Message centre"

Tap Settings.

Tap Messages.

Tap Advanced.

Tap Message centre.

2. Saving the message centre number

Key in +61411990010 and tap OK.

3. Return to the home screen

Tap the Home key to return to the home screen.
