You're connected to a Wi-Fi network but you're not logged on

Some Wi-Fi networks require that you log on.

You're connected to a Wi-Fi network but you're not logged on

Open the browser on your phone and try to load a website. The browser is directed to the start page of the Wi-Fi network. Follow the instructions to log on.
If you can't log on to the Wi-Fi network, turn off Wi-Fi on your phone and connect to the internet using the mobile network.

You're not connected to a Wi-Fi network

You can't access the internet using Wi-Fi, if you're not connected to a Wi-Fi network.

1. Find "Wi-Fi"

Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your phone.

Tap the settings icon.

Tap Networks.

Tap Wi-Fi.

2. Turn on Wi-Fi

Tap the indicator next to "Wi-Fi" until the function is turned on.

3. Connect to Wi-Fi network

A list of Wi-Fi networks within range is displayed.

Tap the required Wi-Fi network.
Follow the instructions on the display to select security settings, if required.

Tap Connect.

4. Return to the home screen

Tap the home icon to return to the home screen.

A connection is rejected by a Wi-Fi network

If a connection is rejected by a Wi-Fi network, you can't access the internet using Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi networks use different security settings. If you can't connect to a Wi-Fi network, you may need to change the security settings.

Wi-Fi isn't turned on on your phone

If Wi-Fi is turned off on your phone, you can't access the internet using a Wi-Fi network.

1. Find "Wi-Fi"
